***Total Disability Individual Unemployability (TDIU) is for veterans who are unable to work due to service-connected disabilities. Upon VA approval of TDIU, the veteran receives disability compensation at the 100% rate.
**** An MRR fee is required for all new clients or current clients starting a new case. If you have both a physical and mental health condition you wish us to review, the MRR charge will be $1000. It includes 24/7 communication access with the doctor handling your VA case via our health platform. Additionally, we will conduct a comprehensive review of all military service records and private treatment records (VA and non-VA clinics). After completing the interview and reviewing your documents, we can tell you all the service connections you deserve and how to get them VA-approved.
A Disability Benefits Questionnaire (DBQ) is a form used to collect necessary medical information to process your VA disability claim. These forms describe essential aspects of a specific disability, including symptoms, severity, possible causes, and relation to other disabilities. The DBQ captures information required for VA Rating purposes, which can be found within the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR).
A Nexus Letter is an official document signed by a medical expert establishing a connection between an in-service stressor or a service-connected condition and a current condition (usually described on a DBQ form). Nexus letters can be a deciding factor in granting approval for VA service connections in both initial claims and supplemental/appeals cases.
The Fully Developed Claim (FDC) program allows the VA to process claims faster by requiring that all required evidence be submitted at the same time as the claim. An FDC with SAME includes all the Veteran's relevant medical evidence, a DBQ medical examination, and a Nexus letter. When a Veteran submit all the evidence we provide to the VA, they can bypass the VA C&P exam and have their condition rated by the VA based on our examination findings. Higher-rating claims only need a DBQ medical evaluation.
